Federal Election
The federal election is off to an excellent start. The candidates are working very hard right now to get people interested and involved. The Green Party in Alberta will not be particularily active for the next month as we help and cheer on our friends in the federal party.

The Green Party of Canada is making history right now. We are the first truly new party to enter the political scene in a lot of years. We will be battling voter apathy at every turn. We need to make sure people are involved. The weather is nice the birds are singing what a great time to put up signs and deliver flyers.

Darryl Sutter
The flames won in 6 games again last night and I was thinking about how that team has come together. The flames all through the regular season were blocking out 7 games and calling them a play-off series. They were practicing for the play-offs all year. This mental preparation has obviously allowed them to overcome the obstacles in the play-offs and to continue to win.

We as Greens need to begin to work that way. We need to set our minds on how will we behave in the election and then we need to begin campaigning now. We need to look at everyday as a campaign day until it becomes second nature.

14%
We were polling at 14% in Alberta last weekend. At first I could not believe it but then I realized that we have done an incredible job of improving the standing of the party and getting people involved.

I want to say Thank-you to all the good people who are giving to the party to make this happen. You know who you are.
